Julius Mouser, an All-American and All-Phillylacrosse.com pick last year, has transferred from Rutgers to local Division III power Cabrini College.

Mouser, the first Shipley School boy to earn All-American, is eligible to play this spring and competed today when Cabrini scrimmaged Ursinus College and Montclair State.

Mouser had 69 goals and 32 assists last year while leading the Gators to the Friends League championship and a berth in the Inter-Ac Invitational quarterfinals. He was an All-Tourney choice at the Inter-Ac Invitational and set school career marks with 200 goals and 301 points.

Cabrini has won 11 straight Colonial States Athletic Conference titles under Steve Colfer.

“We had our biggest wins in program history with him,” said Shipley coach Mark Duncan. “I am happy to see Julius on the field at a top notch program like Cabrini with coach Colfer and his great staff.

“Julius will be able to contribute immediately at Cabrini with his athletic ability. I look forward to watching Julius play locally and see him take his game to the next level.”
