Salesianum School sophomore midfielder Troy Reeder has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of North Carolina.

Reeder was a starter last year on a Sals team that won the Delaware state championship. He earned Third Team All-State honors.
Also a two-year starter in football, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Reeder is a member of the ManUp club program.
Reeder becomes the second Salesianum School sophomore to commit to a Division I college, joining defenseman/LSM Freddy Freibott. Reeder is the fourth ManUp sophomore to commit to a Division I program. One is Malvern Prep defenseman/LSM Greg Pelton (Duke); the fourth commit has not gone public.
Reeder also considered Duke, Princeton and Maryland.
