Andrew Wofford pumped in six goals and Mac Gallagher added three goals and four assists while playing strong at the face-off X as host Shipley School opened its season today by toppling Wyoming Seminary, 16-9, at the Farm Fields.
Mike Litner added three goals and three assists for the Gators.

GFS rallied from an 8-4 first-half deficit and used strong passing and a big game from Iris Williamson to win the season’s girls’ opener.
Iris Williamson collected five goals, five groundballs and four draw controls to lead the way while Isabella DiDio added three goals, two draw controls and one groundball.

Leading the way for the Gators was junior Sophie Katz with four goals and four assists, followed closely by senior Avery Safford with three goals and two assists.
Senior Sophie Cummins and freshman Rachel Shapiro each added three goals and one assists. Senior Katie Leyden tallied three goals, while junior Carlie Ladda and senior Caroline Anapol each added one to round out the scoring.
Shipley goalies sophomore Madison Bailey and freshman Alli Kothari each turned away two shots in the win.
