Zach Rego scored with 3:28 left in the third overtime today to lift host Haverford School to an 8-7 thriller over Penn Charter today in Inter-Ac League boys’ lacrosse.
The Fords (13-1, 5-0) led, 5-2, at halftime, but the Quakers (7-9, 1-4) rallied and later tied it, 7-7, on a goal by Shane Carr with 3:14 to play in regulation.
Henry Blynn led the Fords with three goals and Rego had two. Will Gural won 13 of 20 face-offs while Jake Landman made 10 saves.
Tyler Earley led PC with four goals and Jackson Tamasitis made 15 saves in goal.
