Mechanicsburg senior midfielder Dean Patton has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Dickinson College.

What will you major in/study? Bio/pre-health
Why did you choose Dickinson? “Along with being a great selection lacrosse wise, Dickinson’s character it presents through its team/coaches/general student body, was very appealing to me.
“Coach (Dave) Webster is the man that I would like to lead me for the next four crucial years of my life, and he is very good at what he does. He builds great men through that program, and all at an academically outstanding school.”
Outlook for your high school team? “Every year our team continues to look stronger and grow on and off the field. We have better numbers this year than last year and we are doing a lot more to better prepare ourselves for the upcoming season. Generally, the outlook is quite positive…I have great expectations for the team this season.”
Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my parents and my family for supporting me throughout this entire process. I’d also like to thank my club/high school coach, Coach Chris Newman for guiding me in the right direction. Coach Newman has been one of the greatest mentors I could have asked for and if it weren’t for him I would not be where I am today with regard to the recruiting process.”
