Bishop Eustace senior midfielder Kylie Primeau has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Kylie Primeau log:

Kylie Primeau

High School: Bishop Eustace Preparatory School

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Offensive Midfield

College Choice: Villanova University

Club Affiliation: South Jersey Select

Major lacrosse honors: 3 year varsity letterman, varsity starting attacker, Olympic Conference Champion

Academic Honors: National French Honors Society

Other activities/volunteer work: A leader of the Friends of Rachel Club; Varsity ice hockey manager, Working in the Student Personnel Services office at Bishop Eustace; Weekly volunteer at Voorhees Pediatric Facility; Weekly aid in first grade CCD class; Volunteered at the Arc of Camden County, Genesis HealthCare Facility, and St. Anthony of Padua Parish.

What will you major in/study? Psychology

Why did you choose Villanova? “From the moment I stepped on campus I felt right at home. It is not easy for me to feel at home just anywhere, but Villanova had that impact on me instantaneously. The team and the coaches really made it easy as well, and I am looking forward to being a part of the Villanova community next year.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “Our Bishop Eustace team lost quite a few starting class of 2012 seniors, but we are looking forward to seeing how this year will play out. There are returning starters and we cannot wait to start practicing.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my high school and club coaches who took time out of their days to coach. I would also like to thank my parents for waking up bright and early to drive me to every practice, every camp, and every game I had. My mother supports me and encourages me in my play along with my father who practices with me for hours and helps me with the areas of my game that need improvement. To Julie Martinez, who was my lacrosse trainer, we spent hours upon hours critiquing the smallest stick work skill to shooting to one v. ones. My final thank you would be to the Villanova coaching staff who saw something in me to believe I can help their team succeed.”
