Central Bucks South senior midfielder Tom DiBrino has made a verbal commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

Tom DiBrino log:

Tom DiBrino

High School: Central Bucks South High School

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Widener University

Club Affiliation: Bandits Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: Team Captain 2012 season

What will you major in/study? Finance

Why did you choose Widener? “Widener’s campus along with the amazing nationally accredited business school made me decide that Widener was the college I wanted to attend. Also, Coach (Brendan) Dawson showed a ton of interest in coaching this team which proved to me that he really does want to win a National Championship.”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “We are coming off an 8-10 season where we missed the playoffs by one game so we hope to make an appearance in the playoffs this year and hopefully win a State Title.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my family and coaches for guiding me in the right direction on my college decision.”

Maple Zone Sports and Fitness Complex, the official sponsor for Phillylacrosse.com Boys’ Recruits, congratulates Tom DiBrino. Maple Zone, located on Conchester Pike in Boothwyn, offers numerous programs, leagues and instructional activities for boys’ and girls’ lacrosse players and also offers boys’ U13 and U15 travel teams.
