Garfield (Cal.) senior defenseman/LSM Elliot Allen has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Eastern University.

High school: Garfield High School, Seattle, Wash.
Graduation year: 2013
Position: Defense/LSM
College choice: Eastern University
Club affiliations: South Sound Starz, West Coast Starz, Brady’s Bunch
Major lacrosse honors: First team all conference, and state all star as a junior. Played in Adrenaline Showcase, Top 205, and Denver Shootout
What will you major in/study: Athletic Training
Why did you choose school: “I really bonded well with the team and coaching staff. It felt like I was at home right away. I’m also excited about the momentum the program is building, each year the program seems to do better than the last.”
Outlook for your high school team: “We are going to be a really senior-heavy team. Our goal is to get back to the state championship, and take it home this time.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my mom and sister, and all my coaches over the years who have supported me and taught me to value the opportunities I have been given.”
