Why did you choose school: “All my life I have wanted to serve in the military. My parents served in the Army and my sister, Megan, is currently an ensign in the Navy. The U.S Naval Academy is a prestigious institution, with superior academics and athletics. After meeting the staff, some of the players and seeing the school, I knew it was for me. I look forward to playing under Coach (Rick) Sowell, Coach (Ryan) Wellner and Coach (J.L.) Reppert.”

Outlook for your high school team: “We are returning numerous talented players with many upperclassmen. Our team, as a whole, will not be satisfied with anything less then a state title.”

St. Joe’s Prep commitments: Walsh is the ninth SJP player to commit to a Division I college. Also, I’d like to thank the Tri-State family, specifically Coach (M.V.) Whitlow and Coach (Ross) Turco. Finally, a special thanks to Coach (Paul) Deppi, and the Lower Bucks program.”
