Episcopal Academy rising senior Lindsey Reder has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Boston College.

Lindsey Reder log:

Lindsey Reder

High school: Episcopal Academy

Graduation year: 2013

Position: Goalie

College choice: Boston College

Club affiliation: Phantastix Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: First Team All Inter-Ac 2011,2012; Second Team All-Main Line 2011; Second Team All-Delco 2011, 2012; First Team All-Main Line 2012

What will you major in/study: Undecided

Why did you choose school: “Boston College is a wonderful school in a great city. I wanted a school that was both strong academically and had a competitive lacrosse program. Coach (Acacia) Walker and Coach (Jen) Kent really made the decision so much easier, and it is a honor to play for them.”

Outlook for your high school team: “We have had a very strong program for a long time and this year we hope to continue to be as successful as in the past. I am very confident that this year we will come out ready to win another championship.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my Phantastix coaches Chrissy Poplawski, Sue Frazier, and JoAnn Yusko, as well as my high school coaches Amanda Vos Strache, Heather Ferguson, and Kim Piersall. My family has been such a huge support and I owe a huge thank you to them.”
