Women’s recruit: Agnes Irwin junior midfield/attack Moran commits to Rollins College

Agnes Irwin junior midfield/attack Eliza Moran has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Rollins College (FL).

Position: Midfield/Attack

College choice: Rollins College

Club affiliation: PA Express 2012 (5 years), and PA Express 2013 (2 years)

Major lacrosse honors:
All American National Classic in 2010 to represent Pennsylvania, Selected to travel to Colorado to participate in the Vail Shootout in 2010, Athlete of year at The Agnes Irwin School (2009 and 2010), Varsity Athlete since Freshman year

What will you major in/study: Psychology

Why did you choose school: “After visiting at least 30 schools and universities, I kept returning to Rollins College. I feel as though Rollins offers great opportunity athletically and academically. Head Coach, Dennis Short, and Assistant Coach, Tom Kienle could not have been more supportive and helpful throughout my recruiting process. I look forward to becoming a Tar, and a member of the lacrosse family in the future.”

Outlook for your high school team: “With a record of 9W and 11L in the year 2011, I’m very optimistic about our upcoming season with lots of new talent and our coach, Kirah George.”
