Tuesday’s girls’ Central League roundup: Radnor downs Conestoga; Springfield-D, Strath Haven, Garnet Valley, Haverford High win

Taryn Deck had three goals and an assist and Amelie Yeager added three goals while Annie Woehling made 12 saves to pace visiting Radnor to a 15-9 conquest of Conestoga Tuesday in a key Central League game.

The first-place Red Raiders improved to 6-0 in the league and 9-1 overall. Conestoga fell to 4-2 and 6-3.

Taylor Lawlor led the Pioneers with three goals while Taylor King had two goals and two assists.

Springfield-Delco 15, Marple Newtown 2

The Cougars (9-1, 5-1) remained a game behind Radnor in the Central League as Brooke Shea scored four goals and Courtney Kennedy added three.

Strath Haven 22, Lower Merion 6

Alex Duckenfield collected five goals and three assists and Laura Rowan scored four goals while Jenna Frost had three goals and two assists and Sarah Carzo tallied three for the Panthers.

Haverford High 14, Upper Darby 3

Katrina Geiger collected four goals and three assists and Lauren Falasco added three goals and two assists while Jill Root had two goals and three assists to lead the Fords to the win.

Kelsey Carr scored all three goals for the Royals.

Garnet Valley 17, Harriton 12

Halley Barnes collected four goals and two assists while Ashley Pyle and Haley Warden each netted four goals to spark the Jaguars to the Central League win.

Carli Sukonik had four goals and Jess Schwab added three goals and three assists for the Rams.
