Thursday’s boys’ high school roundup, Late Edition: D-town West routs D-town East, 11-4; Ridley stops Harriton

Dylan Ikkala scored four goals while Eric Rankel and Tyler McWilliams each added two goals and two assists as host Diwningtown West toppled Downingtown East, 11-4, tonight in a Ches=-Mont League boys’ lacrosse matchup of league powers.

Jim Sharer added a goal and two assists for the Whippets, who improved to 12-1 overall and 7-0 in the league (tied with Avon Grove in first place). Downingtown East fell to 9-3 overall and 5-1 in the league.

Zach Logan added a goal and an assist and Brad Shenberger scored once while Dustin Keen was the winning goalie.

Trey Lauletta, Brandon O’Connell, Kees Holterman and Aaron Murphy each scored once for the Cougars.

Ridley 12, Harriton 3

Kyle Bush scored three goals and Ryan O’Kane added two goals and four assists to lead the Green Raidedrs to a Central League win. Kelton Heverly added two goals and one assist and Dalton George scored twice.

Great Valley 17, West Chester East 1

Greg Merrill scored three goals while Eric Gartner, Dan Buchholz, Tommy Belmont and Jeremy Salmon each scored twice for the Patriots in the Ches-Mont rout.

Interboro 13, Strath Haven 11

The Bucs won their eighth straight game and improved to 8-2 with the non-league win over the Panthers as Hunter Jackalous had four goals and two assists and Jake Hermann scored three goals. Joe Stackowitz made 16 saves.

Strath Haven got four goals from Kevin Sherry and a goa and six assists from Mitch Cross.
