Division III power Stevenson University has added two big-name Philly transfers, long stick midfielder Peter Borror (Haverford School) and midfielder Reed Phillips (Downingtown East).
Borror was a two-time US Lacrosse First Team All-American and a an Under Armour All-American and All-Phillylacrosse.com First Team pick in 2008 for Haverford School. He played four games at Virginia as a freshman in 2009 and has two years of eligibility remaining.
Borror was a highly-touted recruit at Haverford School, being named the No. 10 senior by Inside Lacrosse and then the No. 11 college freshman the following year.
Phillips was a two-time Juco All-American at Essex Jr. College in Maryland where he helped his team reach the Juco national finals twice, in 2009 and 2010.
Phillips played on two Suburban League championship squads at Downingtown East and helped the Cougars win the 2007 Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association and Keystone Cup championships. He was an All-Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association and Second-Team All-Phillylacrosse.com selection in 2008.
