Moorestown (N.J.) senior attack/midfielder Lindsay Goldblatt has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at Colgate University.

Lindsay Goldblatt log:

Lindsay Goldblatt (5)

High school: Moorestown High School, NJ

Graduation year: 2012

College choice: Colgate University

Club affiliation: South Jersey Select Lacrosse

Lacrosse honors: 2011 Academic All American, 2011 2nd Team Burlington County, 1st Team 2011 South Jersey National School Girl’s Tournament, Gold medal team for 2010 JCC Maccabi Games

Academic honors: Honor and Service Society, Honor roll freshman year to present, 4.33 GPA

Intended major: Biology (plan to go pre-med)

Why did you choose Colgate: “I wanted a small, highly academic university with competitive sports. Colgate satisfied all of my needs and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.”

Outlook for 2012 HS season: “My high school team has been considered one of the top teams in the state of New Jersey for over a decade. We’re hoping to make it to the New Jersey Tournament of Champions and bring home the championship trophy. In the spring of 2010, Moorestown didn’t bring home the TOC for the first time in ten years. We haven’t won since then and I’m hoping that for my senior year we will bring home the victory.”

Other comments: “I’d like to thank my coaches, Mr. and Mrs. Knobloch (K.C. and Deanna) for being not only amazing friends, mentors, and people, but also for preparing me to play at such a high level in college. I owe all of my lacrosse accomplishments to them and they taught me what it takes to be the best.”
