Senior Joey Sankey went over the 300 mark in career points and Tyler White scored five goals Saturday in leading Penn Charter to a 13-7 non-league boys’ lacrosse triumph over Garnet Valley.
Sankey, signed with North Carolina, had two goals and six assists and now has 164 career goals and 143 career assists.
Shane Carr and Grant Guyer each scored twice and Jackson Tamasitis made 11 saves for the Quakers, who improved to 9-9.
Ridley 5, Abington 4
Eric Streicher scored twice and Tom McDermott made six saves as the Green Raiders toppled the Ghosts in non-league action.
Nick Pisko scored twice for Abington, while Ryan Ambler had a goal and two assists and Travis O’Connor made 10 saves.
Pennsbury 11, Council Rock North 5
Calvin Hopkins had four goals and an assists and Ricky Jutkiewicz added three goals and an assists while Drew Sweetland made 13 saves to pace the Falcons to the non-league win.
Kevin Moses had three goals for the Firebirds.
North Penn 11, Easton 5
Dan Kohler scored three goals and goalie Mike Tappen had a remarkable game with 20 saves, a goal and an assist to pace the Knights to the non-league win.
Great Valley 13, Spring-Ford 8
Greg Merrill scored four goals while Eric Gartner and Adam Lamb added three apiece and Nick DiiPiano made 10 saves to pace the Patriots to the non-league win.
Harriton 12, Father Judge 3
Scott Scheuerle had five goals and three groundballs to lead the Rams to the non-league win. Harry Pillion added three goals and Jake marks made 15 saves for Harriton.
Archbishop Carroll 12, Archbishop. Wood 11
Ryan Flynn, Ryan Shea and Tim Keith all scored three goals and Tom Mitchell posted 19 saves to lift the Patriots to the Catholic League win.
Lawrenceville School (NJ) 11, Hill School 4
Gregor Davidheiser had three goals and Duncan Saunders made 18 saves to lead the Blues in the Mid-Atlantic Prep loss.
