Registration continues for annual PLA Golf Classic on Oct. 10 at White Manor Country Club

Registration continues for the 2011 PLA Golf Classic, which will be held Monday, October 10th at White Manor Country Club, Malvern.

Participation will support the PLA’s mission to promote the game of lacrosse in the region, particularly the New Start Program, which provides technical and financial assistance to new lacrosse programs.

The schedule:
10:30-12:15 Registration and Lunch
12:30- Shotgun Start
5:45- Cocktail Hour and Auction
6:30- Buffet Dinner and Award Ceremony

Last year’s PLA Golf Classic raised over $20,000. The proceeds enabled the PLA to continue its support of the PIAA Public Lacrosse League in Philadelphia, conduct high school and youth coaches’ clinics, sponsor area tournaments (including the Katie Samson tournament, the Nick Colleluori Classic, Checking for Caner and Evanfest), support area travel teams and help meet association needs.

Non-golfers or those not able to play that day are welcome to attend the cocktail reception and banquet that evening. Space is limited and will be processed on a first come, first serve basis.
