National Letter of Intent signings: Nine Garnet Valley boys and girls heading to D1 schools

Nine Garnet Valley players have signed National Letters of Intent or committed to Division I colleges.

The nine are:

Division I signing: Pictured are (back row left to right) Joe DeCarlo (University of Georgia for baseball); Joseph Taulane (High Point), Ryan Guittare (Penn State); Ryan Lehman (Maryland); Jules Raucci (Drexel); (front row left to right) AnnaElise Morello (Yale); Missy Koscinski (Robert Morris); Halley Barnes (Rutgers); Ally Heavens (Penn State), and Kara Stroup (Temple).

Midfielder Joseph Taulane (signed with High Point University;
Defenseman Ryan Guittare (signed with Penn State University);
Defenseman Ryan Lehman (signed with University of Maryland);
Attackman Jules Ruucci (signed with Drexel University);
All-Phillylacrosse.com attack AnnaElise Morello (committed to Yale University);
Defender Missy Koscinski (signed with Robert Morris);
Phillylacrosse.com Co-Player of the Year/midfielder Halley Barnes (signed with Rutgers University);
All-Phillylacrosse.com midfielder Ally Heavens (signed with Penn State University);
and attack Kara Stroup (signed with Temple University).

The Garnet Valley girls’ team claimed the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association championship in 2011 and the Garnet Valley boys placed second in the Central League.
