National Letter of Intent signing: Emmaus grad Kinek (PG at Avon Old Farms, CT) inks with Michigan

Avon Old Farms post-grad Dan Kinek, who starred at Emmaus High, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Michigan.

Kinek was a First Team All-Phillylacrosse.com and an All-EPSLA pick last year when he earned Lehigh Valley Conference First Team and MVP honors. He led the Hornets to their fifth straight league championship.

He collected 70 goals and 24 assists.

The early signing period lasted from Nov. 9-16.
