Bridgewater-Raritan senior midfielder John Longordo (Twist Lacrosse) has signed his National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Delaware.
Longordo helped lead Bridgewater-Raritan to the New Jersey state championship in 2011 and plans to study Engineering at Delaware.
“I chose the University of Delaware because of it’s strong Engineering program as well as it’s highly ranked lacrosse program. I am honored to have been selected as a Fightin’ Blue Hen and very much look forward to working with the coaching staff at UD.
“I have been fortunate to have reached this goal of playing lacrosse at UD and have many individuals throughout the years to thank. They are the youth coaching staff in Hillsborough, the Bridgewater-Raritan coaching staff at the youth and high school level as well as the Twist Lacrosse coaching staff. Special thank you to my parents and family who made a lot of sacrifices in order to make this dream come true for me.”
