Seneca (N.J.) senior defenseman Sean Gray (Braveheart Lacrosse Club) has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Wagner College.

Sean Gray Log:

Sean Gray

High school: Seneca HS (NJ)

Graduation year: 2012

Position: Defenseman

College choice: Wagner College

Club affiliation:
Braveheart Lacrosse Club

Major lacrosse honors: Team Captain; 1st Team All Conference and 2nd Team All South Jersey (Philadelphia Inquirer) during Junior year, Blue Chip 225 Camp- Elite Division, US Lacrosse U-15 New Jersey All Star Team

What will you major in/study?: Business

Why did you choose school: “It’s a D1 program being re-built by a new coach, Matt Poskay. Coach Poskay has a very impressive lacrosse resume. Wagner has a good academic reputation and the location of Wagner (New York City) and the fact that it was fairly close to home weighed on my decision.”

Outlook for your high school team: “It’s very good. We made it to the NJ State Playoffs last year. We are returning several key varsity players and starters, including Dylan Schulte – one of the top South Jersey attackmen.”

Other comments: “I would like to recognize Coach (Rob) Davidson and Coach (Jim) Spicer at Seneca HS, along with Pat McDonough, Head Coach of the Braveheart Lacrosse Club.”
