Radnor senior attackman Rob Dewey has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Ursinus College

Rob Dewey log:

Rob Dewey

High School: Radnor High School

Graduation Year: 2012

Position: Attack

College Choice:
Ursinus College

What will you major in/study?
Either business or exercise science.

Why did you choose school? “Ursinus is a great fit for me. It is close to home but has that far away feel to it. I fell in love with the campus the first time I visited and when I came back for my overnight and was able to meet the team. I knew that I could see myself fitting in with this group of guys. I’ve heard great things about Coach (Jamie) Steele and his staff and I felt he would be a great mentor for me in my next four years.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Last year we were a very young team with a tough schedule and I only see great things happening this year. With our entire defensive unit coming back we will be a tough team to score on, and our offense is going to be great with only losing two of our starting seniors from last year. I can see Radnor competing for the Central League Championship.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my High School Coach, John Begier, for helping me through the recruitment process and through my high school career. I also like to thank my youth lacrosse coach, Michael Cortese, for introducing me to the game and teaching me everything he knew.”
