Loyola Blakefield (MD) junior attackman Devin McNamara has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Position: Attackman
Lacrosse honors: Maryland Freestate team 2011, started on Varsity as a Sophomore, 2011 Loyola Blakefield offensive MVP, had 33 goals, 19 assists
Club affiliation: Greene Turtle Lacrosse Club
Other schools considered: Notre Dame, Colgate, Fairfield, Dartmouth, Towson
Academic honors: 4.18 GPA, First Honors every semester
What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose school? “It has great academics and great lacrosse. I feel that I fit in well with the players and feel very comfortable with the coaches.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “We will be very competitive and should be one of the top teams in the very strong MIAA “A” conference. We only graduated 3 starters and have a strong team coming back.”
