High School: The Episcopal Academy

Graduation Year:
2012

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Lafayette College

Club Affiliation: Duke’s Lacrosse Club

Major lacrosse honors: Co-Captain of Episcopal Academy 2012, Champ Camp Semi-Finals with Dukes, Peak 200, Philly Showcase

Academic honors: Played basketball and worked with kids with disabilities at The Don Guanella School

What will you major in/study? Economics or International Affairs

Why did you choose school? “I chose Lafayette for its strong academics and great lacrosse program. I also really liked Coach Mangan. He is a really nice, down-to-earth guy who has the program heading in the right direction. The campus was also really nice and I liked the vibe I felt when I visited.

“Playing in the Patriot League was also something that really appealed to me. With teams like Army, Navy, and Bucknell on the schedule, Lafayette has the chance to play against some of the best college lacrosse teams in the country. I am also very excited to play with my good friend and teammate, Jon Garino, as well as an old Ashbee Lacrosse teammate Corey Scheuerle (St. Joseph’s Prep).”

Other info: Shipley School junior midfielder Mac Gallagher also committed to Lafayatte in the last week.

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “I have very high expectations for Episcopal this spring. We have a large and very talented senior class, which I think will be the key to our success. Everyone on the team has been working hard and our ultimate goal is to win an Inter-Ac championship.”

Other coments:
“I would like to thank EA Head Coach Andy Hayes and the rest of the Episcopal staff as all of the Duke’s Lacrosse Club coaches.”
