Men’s recruit: Episcopal Academy senior midfielder Lawlor commits to Amherst College

Episcopal Academy senior midfielder Sam Lawlor has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Amherst College and begin the admissions process.

What will you major in/study? Sciences

Why did you choose school? “Coach Thompson and his staff have put together an unbelievably attractive program at Amherst. Once I visited, I immediately fell in love with the school; its academics, athletics and beautiful setting. I can’t wait to get going.”

Outlook for your high school team:
“Last year as a young team we played one of the toughest schedules around. We’re battle tested now and ready to compete for an Inter-Ac championship with a strong core of seniors.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my Episcopal Academy coaches Andy Hayes and Brian McDermott, as well as my HEADstrong coaches Mike Colleluori and Brett Moyer. Both Episcopal and HEADstrong were terrific in helping me.”
