Men’s recruit: Ephrata senior goalie Neff commits to Ursinus

Ephrata senior goalie Brian Neff has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Ursinus College.

Club Affiliation: Blue Mountain

Major lacrosse honors: 2011 All Lancaster-Lebanon League 1st Team Goalie-Junior Year, 2011 PIAA District III 1st Team Goalie. Voted Team MVP for Keystone State Games 2011.

Academic honors:
National Honor Society, Dist Honor Roll, Honor roll, Athletic Directors All-Scholastic Team

What will you major in/study?
Business Administration

Why did you choose school? :I felt as though I really connected with the coaching staff and had a great time on my visit. I wanted to go to a school with good academics and Ursinus has that. This school is a great fit for me.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “We have a lot of players coming back. Most of us have been playing together since our freshman year in high school, so we feel as though this could be a very strong year for us. Our goal is to make it to the state tournament this year.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank the Blue Mountain coaching staff, especially Coach (Doug) Bailey, Coach (Dave) Ondrusek, and Coach (Kirk) Piper.
