The HEADstrong Foundation will host an opening celebration Tuesday night to show the public “Nick’s House,” the new foundation headquarters and a temporary residence for out-of-town patients receiving treatment as well as their parents.
The two-story commercial property is located in Holmes, PA, near the Colleluori family home and where Nick grew up. The former Ridley High great, who passed away four years ago after a battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, created the idea of the HEADstrong Foundation to help others with blood cancer.
The HEADstrong Foundation’s goal, in keeping with Nick’s vision, is to lessen the financial burden of families and offer all the comforts of home, including computer access and laundry facilities.
