Girls’ club news: Lancaster’s X-treme wins Hopkins Queen of the Turf 4×4 tournament

The X-treme Lacrosse Club (Lancaster), featuring several Philly recruits and all players from Central PA, won the Championship at the 11th annual Johns Hopkins Queen of the Turf 4v4 Tournament last weekend.

X-treme players included (from left) Megan Pinkerton, Manheim Township (Temple), Shannon Nee, Manheim Township (UConn), Devon Schneider Manheim Township (Florida), Avery Longstaff, Cocalico (Temple), Kari Longstaff, Cocalico (Temple), Molly Hendrick, Manheim Township (UNC)

The team consisted of Molly Hendrick (Maheim Township junior, committed to UNC), Avery Longstaff (Cocalico senior, Temple), Kari Longstaff (Cocalico senior, Temple), Shannon Nee (Manheim Township senior, UConn), Megan Pinkerton (Manheim Township senior, Temple), and Devon Schneider (Manheim Township senior, Florida).

X-treme went 13-0 on the day and beat the Hopkins recruits to advance to the Championship game where it defeated the Universiy of Virginia recruit team.
