Freshman Aimee Gennaro (Archbishop Carroll) had four goals and two assists and Kathy Young (Villa Maria Academy) added four goals and one assist Friday as host Navy improved to 4-0 with a 22-7 non-conference rout to Bryant in women’s college lacrosse.
Young’s twin sister, defender Beth Young (Villa Maria Academy) added three groundballs, two draw controls and one caused turnover for the Mids.

Maryann Miller (Ridley) had a goal and an assist while Casey Kellogg (Downingtown West) and Emily Corzel (Merion Mercy) contributed key defense to help the host Pride improve to 2-1.

Despite a goal by Emily Garrity (Strath Haven) and two groundballs and a draw control by Beth Ellis (Radnor), the No. 4 Tar Heels fell to the No. 2 Wildcats at Chapel Hill.
Colleen Magarity (Germantown Academy) played strong defense for Northwestern.

Jordan Christopher (Villa Maria Academy) had two assists and Lauren Sparks (West Chester East) added three draw controls and a groundball as the Huskies improved to 2-0.
