Brenda McDermott scored the game-winner off a Rachel Shaw interception to lift host North Pernn to a 9-8 victory over Hatboro-Horsham today in a key Suburban One Continental Conference girls’ lacrosse game.
The Maidens improved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the league while the Hatters fell to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the league.
McDermott led North Penn with four goals and Shaw added three while Macie Hauck had two. Jenna Stover made 9 saves.
Hatboro-Horsham got three goals from Lizzy Carr and one goal and one assist each from Nicole Beck and
Julie Mckay.
Penn Charter 19, Germantown Academy 9
Kate Higgins had five goals and Blaine Steinberg added four goals and one assist to lead the Quakers to the Inter-Ac League win
Amanda Flemng and Emma Ebert each added three goals and an assist for PC while Kelly Kubach made 10 saves.
Brooke Kiley led GA with four goals and Caroline Haynie added a pair.
Conestoga 11, Bayard Rustin 9
The Pioneers improved to 4-0 with the non-league win as Britta Hjelm collected three goals and five assists and Meghan McGillis added three goals and one assist.
Taylor Lawlor and Brooke McGillis each added two goals.
