Friday’s boys’ roundup: Mouser sets all-time scoring mark as Shipley remains perfect in Friends Schools League

Julius Mouser scored four goals and became the all-time leading scorer at the Shipley School to lead the Gators to an 8-5 victory today over host Academy of the New Church in Friends’ Schools League boys’ lacrosse.

The Gators clinched the regular season crown (4-0) in the Friends League and improved to 12-2 overall. They have won 19 straight league games.

The Rutgers-bound Mouser increased his career total to 176 goals, breaking the mark by John Hird.

Mike Litner had two goals and two assists and Matt Gagnier added a goal and five groundballs, while Ian McGibbon made nine saves.

The Shipley defense was led by Eric Loreaux, Mike Gagnier, Steve Gentry, Will Todd, Gore Kamara, Jamie Piltch, Luke Massengill and Evan Romano.

Upper Merion 7, Wissahickon 6

Trevor Kupecky had three goals and an assist and Wes McDowell added two goals and an assist and Conor Crowe made 10 saves to lead the Vikings to the Suburban One American Conference win.

AJ Andersen led the Trojans with two goals and one assist.

Pennsbury 10, Council Rock North 3

Ricky Jutkiewicz and Ryan McDonald each scored three goals and Drew Sweetland made 16 saves to lead the Falcons to the Suburban One National Conference title.

Dan Marr paced the defense with four groundballs and Luke Matthews had a goal and three assists.

Interboro 6, Bayard Rustin 5

Hunter Jackalous scored four goals and had the game-winner with two minutes to play to lead the Bucs to the victory.

Joe Kelly made 12 saves in a standout effort in goal for Rustin, while Eric Burke scored twice.

Central Bucks East 19, Central Bucks South 2

Parker Self had four goals and an assist and Blake Ament added three goals and three assists as the Patriots improved to 15-1 overall with the easy win at Senior Night.

Abington 15, Neshaminy 2

Nick Pisko had three goals and one assist, Brian Gallagher scored three goals and Ryan Ambler contributed two goals and six assists to lead the Ghosts to the Suburban One National win.

Matt Lomady had 10 groundballs for Abington, which is one win away from a perfect league season for the fifth straight year.

Kennett 13, New Hope-Solebury 11

Kevin McQuiston had three goals and four assists to help the Demons deal the Lions their first loss of the year in the non-league game.

Jonathan Otto led New Hope with five goals.
