Duke sophomore attackman Jordan Wolf and Maryland redshirt sophomore goalie Niko Amato were named to the Coaches’ Atlantic Coast Conference Pre-Season all-league squad in Face-Off Yearbook.
Wolf, the Phillylacrosse.com Co-Player of the Year in 2010, was a USILA All-America honorable mention and All-ACC pick last year when he ranked second on the Blue Devils in scoring with 31 goals and 20 assists. Amato, the Phillylacrosse.com Player of the Year in 2008, led the Terps into the NCAA finals last season and also was an All-ACC pick that posted 164 saves and made the NCAA All-Tournament team.
The team also included Virginia sophomore short stick defense middie Chris LaPierre (Shawnee, NJ).
The ACC Pre-Season rankings are as follows:
