Duke’s L.C. Triple H team suffers heartbreaking 7-6 loss to LI Express in title game of Winter Indoor Nationals

The Duke’s Lacrosse Club Triple H team suffered a heartbreaking 7-6 loss to the Long Island express today in the championship game of the 8th Grade Division of the Winter Nationals Indoor Lacrosse Championship at Randolph, N.J.

The Dukes, who were defending champions, had gone undefeated heading into the finals and had already beaten the Express, 6-4, in round robin play.

The Dukes defeated the LI Outlaws, 10-3, to reach the finals. The Express downed Philadelphia Freedom, 8-5, in the semis.

Meanwhile, the Quake (Moorestown, N.J.) went 1-2 in round robin play and got a standout performance from goalie Tyler McCormack (of Tabernacle, NJ) and also from
Mike Krosnodomskie (Defense/LSM, Mt Laurel), Jared Chiacetti (middie, Meford), Jay Serbo (defense, Kingsway), Bryan Wright (attack, Moorestown) and Luke McLaughlin (A/M, Medford Lakes).
