Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced today the seventh annual Under Armour® All-America Lacrosse Classic will take place on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Md.
Each year only 88 of the nation’s top boys and girls high school seniors earn the sport’s most prestigious honor.
Last year the boys’ South team emerged victorious for the second time in the event’s history by downing the North squad, 11-9. The girls’ North team won 15-10 by outscoring the South 8-3 in the second half.
A full weekend of events will be highlighted by the All-America boys senior showcase live on ESPNU Saturday evening at 8pm. The girls will face off at 5pm.
The weekend will once again include a ten-region underclassmen event with boys and girls All-Star teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Upstate NY and Washington, D.C. and West.
The three-day underclassmen tournament (June 29th – July 1st) will feature the top national lacrosse players from the graduating classes of 2013, 2014 and 2015. Underclassmen tryout dates for each region will be announced next month.
