Tim Keith scored three goals and Sean Roberts added a pair while Ryan Flynn had a goal and four assists to pace host Archbishop Carroll to a 10-8 triumph over Archbishop Wood Thursday in the first round of the Catholic League boys’ lacrosse playoffs.
The win vaulted the fourth-seeded Vikings (11-7) into the semifinals against either La Salle or St. Joseph’s Prep Tuesday at Cardinal O’Hara.
Alex Bralczyk led the Carroll defense.
Chandler Grasela led Wood (8-10) with three goals and Steve Kent scored twice while Colin Durnin made 15 saves.
Archbishop Ryan hosts Cardinal O’Hara in the other first-round game today. La Salle (No. 1) and St. Joseph’s Prep (No. 2) received first-round byes.
