What will you major in/study? “Although I have a strong interest in studying English, I’m still undecided at this point and will narrow my focus down over the next few years.”

Why did you choose school?

“I have participated in several Duke lacrosse camps over the past few years which have provided me with exposure to the school, the team, the coaching staff and the overall environment of the university. Duke provides me with the opportunity to balance exceptional academics with my passion for playing lacrosse at the next level.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “I am excited about the prospects for our 2012 season as we are returning a significant number of starters from last year and bringing up a talented group of ninth and tenth graders.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my family, my Ultimate team and coaches Julie Weiss and Michele DeJuliis, and the entire Springside community of coaches and teachers for supporting me over the last several years.”

Other info: Morrissey’ s sister, senior Annie, just announced last week she had committed to Dartmouth.
