Conestoga rising senior midfielder Allison Henry has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at William and Mary College.

Henry was a key member of a Pioneers team that reached the quarterfinals of the District 1 tournament. She plays for the Phantastix club team.
Henry is undecided on a major, but is considering business as a field of study.
“I chose William and Mary because I feel it has a great balance between academics and athletics,” she said. “The campus is absolutely beautiful, and the lacrosse team is united and dedicated.”

Henry, a two-year letter-winner, is a member of the National Honor Society also runs cross country.
She has high expectations for the 2011 season.
“I believe my high school team has great potential this year,” she said. “We just missed the state playoffs last year, but I am confident that we can make it this year. Our team is motivated and works hard to improve.”
