Recent Boyertown graduate Claire Moyer (attack) has signed a letter of intent to play Division II lacrosse at Millersville University.
Moyer helped the Bears win their seventh straight Pioneer Athletic Conference championship and advance to the second round of the District 1 tournament this year. She will major

in biology.
“The campus is gorgeous and it’s just the size I was looking for,” she said. “I was also impressed with the experience coach (Barbara) Waltman brings to the team and how welcoming the girls were.”
Waltman is entering her 35th season with the Marauders as the winningest coach in Division II history with 219 wins.
Moyer will be joined at Millersville by teammate Brooke Fisher (attack) as well as Pottstown’s Lauren Raugh (defense) and Ridley’s Becky Donkin (attack).
Boyertown finished 16-5 in 2010 with a strong senior nucleus.
“We all bonded really well on and off the field which contributed to our success,” said Moyer. “Everyone on the team had a part; whether they were the one scoring or the one cheering on the sideline.”
