Ferri put the unbeaten Fords on her back, scoring four times in the second half with three coming in less than four minutes to give Haverford a three-goal lead.

The win lifted the Fords to a perfect 8-0 as they gear for Wednesday’s CC game against Ursinus College.

Scranton’s Slade (CB East) is Landmark Player of the Week

Scranton junior Katie Slade (Central Bucks East) was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 28, after scoring five goals and assisting on four others in leading the Royals to back-to-back victories.

Slade opened the period with a career-high seven-point performance on Wednesday, March 24, at Fitzpatrick Field. She scored three goals and had four assists in Scranton’s 15-4 victory over Neumann University.

This past Saturday, in a 13-4 victory over SUNY New Paltz in New Paltz, New York, she scored two goals as the Royals won their third straight game to improve to 4-4 on the season.

In the latest Landmark Conference statistical rankings, Slade is first in caused turnovers (2.43), second in draw controls (3.7), tied for fourth in ground balls (3.0), tied for eight in goals per game (2.0), and ninth in shot attempts (4.71).
