Wednesday’s girls’ scholastic roundup: OJR, Boyertown, Pottstown win in PAC-10

Nicole Miler had three goals and three assists and Casey Dielman, Emily Kolsevich and Caitey Mitchell each scored three goals to lead host Owen J. Roberts to a 13-9 victory over Upper Perkiomen Wednesday in Pioneer Athletic Conference girls’ lacrosse.

Kristen Gregory made nine saves in goal for the ‘Cats (7-5, 6-2).

Leah High scored six goals and Jenny Pearson had three for the Tribe

Boyertown 21, Pottsgrove 2

Raelynn Mikell collected four goals and two assists and Kara Smoyer tallied four goals while Emily Austerberry added three goals and one assist as the Bears cruised to the PAC-10 win.

Pottstown 20, Perkiomen Valley 10

Kasey Mock scored nine goals and Amanda Krok tallied four while Danae Perrymond added three to help the Trojans improve to 5-0 in the PAC-10. Kendra Barkasi made nine saves for Pottstown.

Upper Dublin 15, Upper Merion 2

Emily Hitchings scored four goals, Kelly Cross had three goals and three assists and Amy Cross and Siobhan Brady added three goals and two assists apiece as the Cardinals remained undefeated with the Suburban One American Conference win.

Norristown 10, Lower Moreland 8

Beverly Pate scored three goals and Janelle Scruggs and Taylor Foxworth each had two as the Eagles dealt the Lions a defeat.

Baldwin School 17, Springside School 5

Sloan Warren collected seven goals and three assists and Alice Matthai added four goals and an assist for the Bears in the Inter-Ac League win.

Val Cohen posted 13 saves and the defense was strong, led by Kristin Feinberg, Arden Simone, Nicole Wells, Julia Ramsey, Alexa Tzarnas, Hilry Gray and Warren.

Abington Friends 17, Barrack Hebrew Academy 3

Kelly McGlynn scored six goals and Jenna Nourie added four to lead Abington Friends.

Dani Levin led Barrack with two goals.
