Wednesday’s girls’ roundup: Great Valley remains undefeated, tops Downingtown East

Colleen O’Malley had six goals and an assist and Jess Nawojski added two goals and two assists as visiting Great Valley defeated Downingtown East, 9-5, in Ches-Mont League girls’ lacrosse Wednesday.

The win improved the Patriots’ mark to 11-0 overall and 6-0 in the Ches-Mont.

Kelly Devlin led the Cougars with two goals and one assist.

Pottstown 16, Phoenixville 5

Kasey Mock had six goals and for assists Amanda Krok had three goals and three assists to lead the Trojans.

Mariah Johnson had three goals to lead the Phantoms.

Owen J. Roberts 19, St. Pius X 3

Emily Kolsevich had six goals and one assist and Nicole Miller added four goals and two assists while Caitley Mitchell scored twice and Kristen Gregory made six saves to lead the Wildcats.

Boyertown 19, Perk Valley 6

Rachel Engler scored four goals and Raelynn Mikell added three goals and three assists while Sam Kochey added three goals to lead the Bears.

Methacton 16, Spring-Ford 9

Lauren Bauer had five goals and five assists and Emily Kellett tallied five goals as the Warriors claimed the PAC-10 win.

Marisa Moley scored four for the Rams.

Upper Perkiomen 11, Pottsgrove 10

Leah High scored the game winner with 10 seconds left to lift the Indians.

Ashley Delaney had four goals and three assists fir the Falcons.

North Penn 21, Cheltenham 2

Dani Horn collected three goals and four assists and Halie Lear had three goals and one assist while Abbie Hartman and Stacey Pellechia each had three goals to lead the undefeated Maidens to victory.

Peddie School 17, Germantown Academy 8

Brooke Kiley had five goals and one assist for the Patriots in the non-league defeat.

Southern Lehigh 19, Jenkintown 13

Carolyn Smith collected six goals and four assists for the Drakes in defeat.
