A unique boys’ lacrosse clinic will held on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 12-4 p.m. when former NCAA standouts from Ward Melville High School and the Three Village Lacrosse Youth League on Long Island are reunited for the 3rd annual Ward Melville Style Lacrosse Clinic at The Shipley School (farm fields) in Gladwyne.
The event is run by former Ward Melville and Syracuse All-American/Final Four MVP Liam Banks, the LB3 Camps and Club Teams Director. The clinic is for boys aged 7 to 18 and specializes in the development of team and individual lacrosse fundamentals, the trademark of Ward Melville’s longstanding success in New York and beyond.
Instruction includes: shooting techniques, shooting drills, dodging, defensive checks, defensive footwork, team offense, team defense and much more.
The instructional staff includes a group headed by graduates of the Ward Melville program:
Director: Liam Banks – two-time All-American Attack at Syracuse, 2000 MVP of National Championship, U-19 All World Team 99, former member of the San Francisco Dragons of Major League Lacrosse, Assistant Coach of Upper Dublin, Volunteer Assistant for the Women’s team at the University of Maryland 2006, Founder and Executive Coach of all LB3 Club teams, Warrior Players Club; and head of sports marketing for Warrior and Brine in the Southeast.

Millon International Lacrosse Camps
The Millon International Lacrosse Camps will be held August 1-5 at the George School at
1690 Newtown-Langhorne Rd.
in Newtown. The times are 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. (overnight and extended day). The camp is headed by former Philadelphia Wings standout Mark Millon, respected for teaching basic techniques through on-site demonstrations. March Youth Boot Camp at LaxEvo
Lacrosse Evolution is holding its March Youth Boot Camp for boys and girls. Focus is on stick skills and conditioning.
Boys’ classes are from 6-7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as 12-1 p.m. Saturday. Girls’ classes are 7-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 1-2 p.m. Saturdays.
Package 1: one day per week, you pick ($80); Package 2: two days per week, you pick ($150); Package 3: three days per week, you pick ($220).
