Thirteen Philly men selected to play in USILA/Lax World Senior North-South All-Star Games Friday at Goucher College

Thirteen Philly men have been selected to play in the USILA/Lax World North/South Senior All-Star Games for Division I/II and Division III at Goucher College in Baltimore on Friday.

The Division III game will be played at 3:00 p.m., and the Division I/II game will be played at 5:30 p.m.

The Philly players selected for the Division I game (South Team) include: defenseman Matt McCormick (Malvern Prep), attackman Colin Ambler (Abington), face-off specialist Zak Fisher and midfielder Adam Dennis of Drexel; long stick midfielder Tom Dodge and defenseman Brendan Saxon of Penn, attackman Curtis Dickson of Delaware and defenseman Steve Layne (Malvern Prep) of Loyola. Layne will not play due to an injury.

The Philly players selected for the Division III game include attackman Casey Grugan (Ridley) and midfielder Rich Romanelli of Cabrini, Ursinus midfielder Eric Farris (Pottsgrove), Haverford College defender Grant Firestone and Widener midfielder Kevin Rider.
