Tuesday’s women’s college roundup: Condon (Abington) leads Marist to upset over Lehigh; Chestnut Hill, Holy Family win

Sophomore Kelly Condon (Abington) made a triumphant homecoming Tuesday by scoring four goals and leading Marist College to an 8-6 upset over host Lehigh in women’s Division I lacrosse.

Condon scored two of her goals in a four-goal uprising as Marist (3-5) rallied from a 4-2 deficit. Condon has 12 goals on the season.

Lauren Dykstra had two goals and an assist for the Mountain Hawks (8-2) and Inneke Carmola had two goals while Allison Thomas (Conestoga) notched her 20th of the year.

Division II
Chestnut Hill 12, Post 10

Maryanne Glass collected three goals, one assist, four ground balls, two draw controls and five caused turnovers to pace the Griffins (2-3, 1-2) to the CACC win.

Holy Family 12, Wilmington 6

Samantha Cornely netted a career-high four goals as Holy Family (3-3, 3-1) claimed the CACC win.

Division III
Gwynedd Mercy 20, Notre Dame (MD) 6

Kerri Boon (Interboro) had four goals and three assists, while Shannon Carabba (Springfield-Montco) and Morgan Hosler netted four goals each as the Griffins (4-4) moved to 3-0 in CSAC play.

Immaculata 20, Neumann 14

Kacie O’Neill (Sun Valley) had seven goals and four assists and Becca Whiteman (Great Valley) poured in eight goals to pace the Mighty Macs (2-7, 1-2) to the CSAC win.

Alex Bohen (Upper Merion) had six goals for Neumann (2-8, 1-3)

Alvernia 20, Moravian 8

Felicia Sippel (St. Hubert) led Alvernia (6-2) with five goals while Alyssa Verrillo (Archbishop Wood) tallied four goals.

Sarah Carman (Pennridge) led Moravian (2-5) with three goals, five draw controls, three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers
