Stephanie Finley scored the game-winner in overtime off a free position as Sacred Heart defeated Villa Maria Academy, 14-13, Thursday for its first-ever win over the Hurricanes in a Catholic Academies Association game.
Finley had six goals and four assists and won it after a long outlet pass by goalie Amy Robinson (11 saves) helped set up a scoring chance. The Lions rallied from a 6-1 deficit and eventually sent it into overtime when Eileen Dombrowski (six goals) scored with 1.9 seconds in regulation.
Molly Rooney had five defensive turnovers to pace the midfield.
Chelsea Fay led Villa Maria with five goals.
Gwynedd Mercy Academy 10,Villa Joseph Marie 9
Jamie Bumgardner had six goals and two assists and Cait Bashwiner made 11 saves to help Gwynedd claimed the win.
MaryLee Mahoney led VJM with five goals.

Shannon Burns had four goals and three assists to lead the Cougars to the Central League win. Tori Mitros had two goals for GV.

Kasey Mock pumped in nine goals to pace the the Trojans to the PAC-10 win.
Marisa Moley, Maddie Ward, Carly Engle and Sasha Wazniak each had two goals for the Rams.

Kristen Bandos collected five goals and two assists and Bridget Burns had three goals and four assists to pace the Irish.
Becca Dahle had two goals and two assists for Friends’ Central.
Downingtown East 15, Bishop Shanahan 6
Emily Solenberger fired in four goals Kelly Devlin had two goals and three assists to lead the Cougars to the Ches-Mont win.
Liz Duke, Hannah Goforth and Kathryn Skahan each scored twice for Shanahan.

Caitlyn McCartney had six goals and one assist to lead the Vikings to victory.
