The dates for the Philly girls’ tryouts for the Under Armour Underclassmen Classic have been moved due to a scheduling conflict for the second time.
The girls’ tryouts will be held on Monday, June 14, at Radnor High, and Tuesday, June 15, at Eastern University in Radnor Township. The tryouts will run from 5-8 p.m. each night.
The Philly girls’ team is being coached by Downingtown East head coach Caitlin Barbakoff.
Players can register to try out directly on the Under Armour website at www.underarmourlacrosse.com.
Eight teams – from Philly, New Jersey, Baltimore, Upstate New York, the Midwest, Washington D.C. Long Island and New England will compete in pool play on July 3 and then championship play July 4 at Towson University. Each team will be guaranteed four games and the event will be attended by numerous college coaches.
