The adidas National Lacrosse Classic will hold its “Team Philadelphia” tryouts on Monday, June 14 at Drexel University from 5-8 p.m.
The adidas National Lacrosse Classic is open to all high school underclassmen (rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade boys as well as post-graduates) enabling student-athletes with an opportunity to gain exposure to the college admissions and athletic recruitment process. The Classic will be held July 5-8 at the Maryland Soccerplex in Germantown, MD.
Neshaminy head coach Josh Hanlon will coach the 2010 team representing Philadelphia. “I am excited about the opportunity,” he said. “I was involved with the EPSLA Showcase last year and really enjoyed getting to work and build relationships with talented players over the area.”
Pennsbury head coach Jaime Huber will be an assistant on Hanlon’s staff.
The winner of the national finals will qualify to play for the Brogden Cup against the best team in Canada later in the year.
