Chestnut Hill College senior sisters Carley and Maryanne Glass and Philadelphia University’s Kathleen Maurer were recognized by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference as First Team All-Conference selections while Holy Family’s Stephanie McNesby (Archbishop Ryan) was named the Rookie of the Year.
The Glass sisters combined for 68.8% (139 of 199) of the team’s scoring this season, while also cementing themselves as mainstays on the program’s all-time statistical leader boards.

Carley Glass received her second, First Team All-CACC selection after leading the league in points per game (5.65) and ground balls per game (3.82). She only ranked second to her sister in goals per game (4.06) and shots per game (8.59) while tying for second in assists per game (1.59).
Additionally, Carley ranked second in caused turnovers (2.18) and third in draw controls per game (3.06). She led the Griffins in assists (27), points (96), shooting percentage (47.3%), ground balls (65), draws (52), and caused turnovers (37) this season. She recorded her 100th career goal on March 29 and was named the conference’s Player of the Week on April 12. Carley is the program’s all-time assist leader (108) and she ranks fourth all-time in goals (160).
Maryanne Glass was equally impressive this season. She was the league’s leading scorer (4.12 goals/game) and shooter (9.06 shots/game). She was a Second Team selection as a junior. Maryanne also finished this season second in points per game (5.12) and seventh in assists per game (1.00). Maryanne led the Griffins in goals (70), free-position goals (19-for-33), and shots (154). She also ranked second in assists (17), points (87), shooting percentage (45.5%), draw controls (43), and caused turnovers (22). She was named the CACC Player of the Week on April 27. Maryanne finished her career as the program’s third all-time leading scorer (178).
Maurer, a midfielder, also has been selected to participate in the annual Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) North-South All-Star Game Saturday at 1 p.m. at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA. Both Glass sisters also will play with Maurer on the North squad.
Maurer led Philadelphia University with 73 points on 43 goals and 30 assists.
McNesby, a midfielder, was named CACC Rookie of the Week a league-high four times this season. She had 31 goals and eight assists and helped Holy Family reach the league finals. She ranked third on the team with 26 ground balls. McNesby was also a second team All-CACC pick and was one of only two freshmen to be named All-Conference.
