Monday’s girls’ scholastic roundup: Wissahickon downs PW, Mount St. Joseph wins

Aubrey Bossert had four goals and one assist while twin sister Ashley Bossert and Sam Stutman added three goals and two assists each as host Wissahickon downed Plymouth Whitemarsh, 14-4, today in Suburban One American Conference girls’ lacrosse.

Laura Frankenfield added three goals for the Trojans, who improved to 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the Suburban One.

Caitlyn Mundy led the Colonials (2-6, 2-3) with three goals.

Mount St. Joseph 10, Sacred Heart 8

Corinne Carracausa had three goals and Olivia Gannon and Laura Pacheco each had two to lead the Mount to the Catholic Academies win.

Stephanie Finley led Sacred Heart with four goals while Lara Haab added three.

Archbishop Wood 21, Archbishop Prrendergast 2

Caitlyn McCartney had five goals and one assist and Nicole Hayes added three goals and an assist as the Vikings cruised in the Catholic League.

Episcopal Academy 14, Downingtown East 9

Libby Eyre had five goals, four draw controls and seven groundballs to pace EA (7-5) to the non-league win over the Cougars (7-3).

Taylor Trimble added three goals, three assists and seven groundballs and Blake McHugh had three goals for the Churchwomen. Jennie Minnick made 12 saves.

Kelly Devlin, Ashley Poli and Emily Solenberger each scored three goals for the Cougars.
