Kristen Gregory made 23 saves while Nicole Miller (two goals, one assist) scored the tying goal with 4:31 left and Caitey Mitchell (two goals) scored the winning goal 28 seconds later to give Owen R. Roberts a 6-5 victory over Pottsgrove today in Pioneer Athletic Conference girls’ lacrosse.
Rachelle Mewshaw led Pottsgrove with two goals and an assist.
Boyertown 18, St. Pius X 1
Rachel Engler tallied three goals while Amanda Smith. Raelynn Mikell, Zoe Reilly, Sam Kochey and
Devyn Heidelbaugh each had two goals to lead the Bears to the PAC-10 win.
Spring-Ford 17, Upper Perkiomen 16
Katie Murtin (three goals) scored the game-winner early in overtime and Maddie Ward fired in seven goals while maris Moley added six as the Rams claimed the PAC-10 win.
Leah High had six goals for the Tribe.
Plymouth Whitemarsh 12, Upper Moreland 4
Amy Powell scored three goals and Michelle Sturm and Kathryn Walker each had two as the Colonials claimed the Suburban One win.
Lily Smith scored two goals for the Bears.
Archbishop Wood 13, Pennsbury 4
Caitlyn McCartney had five goals and one assist and Meghan Oczkowski added four goals and an assist as the Vikings defeated the Falcons.
Julia Maples made nine saves for Pennsbury.
Pennridge 18, Council Rock South 6
Lea Britton and Leann Hurley each scored two for CR South.
Jess Roy had five goals and two assists and Jen Moyer added four goals and four assists to lead the Rams to the Suburban One Continental win.
Jenna Esposito had a remarkable game in goal turning away 18 shots. Also, Pennridge dominated the draw control, only allowing South 4 of 23.
Gwynedd Mercy Academy 23, Nazareth Academy 10
Jamie Bumgardner and Calli Foley each had six goals for Gwynedd in the Catholic Academies game. Laura Pharo had five goals for Nazareth.
Merion Mercy 18, Villa Joseph Marie 8
Madison Connor had five goals and three assists and Margaret Corzel had five goals and three assists while Casey Rooney had four goals and four assists and Emily Corcoran added three goals and an assist to pace the Bears to the Catholic Academies win.
Jenkintown 14, Archbishop Ryan 4
Carolyn Smith had five goals and two assists while Gab Coggin added three goals and an assist for the Drakes.
